I was recently wrongfully dismissed and I was wondering if I have grounds to charge my former boss with theft cause it has been over 11 days since I was fired and he has yet to get me my final check for hours worked and my Record of employement

Hi again I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada.
It depends on where the normal pay date is for staff salaries. Normally companies have an additional one or two weeks extra grace period.
Well I was wrongfully dismissed on December 22nd and the regular pay day was supposed to be on the 26th of december but all the other employees recieved their check on the 23rd of december and I have yet to be paid
If you are wrongfully dismissed you can take the case with the authorities. Regarding the paycheck as you had worked for nearly a month, they should be paying for the days and hours you had worked and they cannot withhold your paycheck.
Actually I'd been working for the guy for 10 months
If you still haven't received your paycheck by now, then I would say you should ask if you can be expecting it in the mail or something. It shouldn't have taken this long to send it through mail, as slow as it is, so I would talk to the authorities. Since you did work for those hours, you are legally entitled to it.
You should tell your former boss that you are serious about taking legal action if he does not pay up asap!
May i ask why you were wrongfully dismissed?
Your boss might also be required to pay you for two weeks, although that might depend on what type of job it was.
