I'm married my son is 17 yr.old ,my husband is not the father,do i still need his fathers permission to leave Canada.
If he adopted the child after marriage and you are seperated now, then Yes you need his permission unless you have sole custody .
If you are still married to him and he did not adopt the child , then No you do no need his permission .
If the father is not the father of the child and the father does not know that he is not the father of the child , but the father is registered as being the child's father in the birth certificate ,then yes you still need his permission if you live together and if you are seperated ,you will have to have sole custody of the child to do so .
I hope that helps .
