Hello my name is Daniel and I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I just recieved my ROE(record of employement) and my T4 tax slip from my former employer and the Information on my ROE is completely wrong. The last day worked says I worked on Dec 19 2009, the Insureable income is over $12000 off of what my T4 says. The reason for issueing the ROE was left blank, the date I started is a week off of the date I actually started. The whole thing is completely wrong and I was wondering what type of grounds I have to go after my former employer for and what I can go after him for.

Second, most employers do not concider a persom under their employment till after any trainnign is done. This is from experance with Airport Terminal Services.
I would go back tothe employer and have then correct the ROE

record.

I don't know what legal rights you would have, but I certainly would persuit the issue with your employer. Would your tax office not be able to help too?
