Paralegal sueing me! HELP

Hi all,

Here is my story:

I went to a paralegal for trafiic violations in the past. Paid him monies for the services. 2 years ago I had paid him a few thousand dollars for 1 violation that he was supposed to appeal. I kept calling his office and he said he sent in the necessary paperwork. After a year of calling and more monies being paid to him, I found out all he did was get an extension for my CONVICTION which I could have easily done myself. A few months later I had another larger traffic violation. He said he would wipe the record clean for almost $6000. I agreed to make monthly payments. An employer at his office tipped me off and told me I was being scammed. He called the paralegal on speaker phone and mentioned about my case and the paralegal was laughing that he was getting $6000 out of me. He later showed me the exact same case where that individual was charged $800 for the same service. The paralegal told me that my case was very difficult and if I dont use his services I will face jail time 6months! After the court date, I called into the court house to see what the results were and they told me that the case was dismissed because it was out of the district. Ok I am dumb and gullible. I have paid the paralegal $1000 as I think that is what he deserves. Now a few months later he has sent papers to my home to sue me for the full amount not even acknowledging the $1000 payment I have already made.

What do I do???

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! I dont have much time as I need to send the document back to the court house!

You failed to mention where you are?

In Ontario... Call the Police... If what you say is true... the police should investigate hi, for Fraud. His boss could also be charged. Seizure of business records would substantiate claims of similar cases being charged less. His boss should roll on his employee in fear of bad publicity and possible charges.

They all prey on the ignorance of the public. 98% of their work is plea bargaining and constitutional motions for dismissal... or just showing up in hopes that the Officers won't show up.

They are the parasites of the judicial system. In some cased one step down from Lawyers.
