Default Public forum - deleting posts

I have no idea if this is where I should post this, but I live in Canada so...

I am on a public forum and have been having a bit of a "spat" with some people. The problem is, the moderators are deleting some posts and leaving others, which leave me looking like a real jerk. I was being a jerk, but so were others, but their posts are gone, and my jerky replies are there for all the world to see. I have asked the moderators to delete everything I have posted, as well as my account and any links to my website. If they don't do it, is there anything I can do? I was willing to leave the whole fight on there, but now that some of it has been deleted, I feel like it's making me look bad and no one can see why I said what I said, and I really look like a jerk!

It's a forum for the software I use to run my business website, and there are links to my site.

Good question. When you signed on to the site, as a new member, you agreed to a lot of fine print includig the TOS. Thus, the Moderators have your permission to delete any posts they feel like. there is nothing you can do about it. Find a way to just calm down and perhaps move to some other site. Good luck.

    That's what I thought. Darn.

    Thanks very much for answering.
