I have encountered this internet social game made by japanese on Facebook/Mochi Game
It is a game where you can gamble with virtual casino dollars and chat online too.
and can also use real money to buy items used in slots/black jack/mini baccarat/roulette
They promote it a lot to all users, most users are underage too.
It says that *underage do not gamble*, but no restrain was given on those underage children, the game promotes it too much, almost everyday there is new stuff in casino, and a lot of things can be bought with casino dollars too.
Now, I am having problems with its casino.
I am an adult who plays a lot of slots, I DO NOT use cheat engines,
And over the past 4 month,
I have been gambling at the slots for game casino dollars,
And I have managed to save up to 5 million $c in total, without spending anything.
(PS.I did not use real money to buy items/casino dollars.)
This Sunday they took all my casino dollars away without notice, did not ban me from casino leaves me with 139$c.
All those hard work sitting and clicking for 4 month was for nothing....?
I don't think I am hacked.
I emailed their customer service 4 times and reports bug
I was ignored for almost a week, still no signs of reply or action taken.
I spent money on this game every month, not in casino, but on virtual clothes and furniture.
What kinds of actions can I take, I want to sue them.
But I don't know what to sue them for? Consumer Protection Act?
Consumer's rights?
I will update the post if I get more information from them.
I searched online and found this:
"quote:

"Rights and Remedies
If you have been the victim of either an unfair practice or an unconscionable consumer representation, the Business Practices Act gives you the right to cancel your contract within 6 months of signing it, and to receive back any money you paid. You can make a complaint about your contract to the Ministry of Consumer & Business Services if you have cancelled the contract within 6 months and have not received your money back. You are also entitled to go to court to claim the money.
Even if more than 6 months has passed, you may be entitled to go to court and sue the business for your money on the basis that they took money from you under an invalid or improper contract.""
I have only been active in this game for less than 5 month
does it apply to me?
Can I ask for full refund or money spent on this game?
I feel I am cheated on by this company in an unfair practice.
