Since Canadian educational institutions don't offer the service MIT offers, some students are forced to share lecture notes with others. I wanted to share my lecture notes on my personal website or scribd without fear of infringing the law. is sharing lecture notes online legal? does a professor hold any copyrights to lecture notes extracted from many sources? Since the downloaded digital lecture notes don't have any copyright notice or warning printed on them does that invalidate any copyright if there was any?
