Hi, I'm wondering if it is illegal to make a facebook account of someone else (using that persons name / picture) and if it is, if Facebook will release the IP of the account creator if charges are pressed. Basically, my brother (as a joke) who is a minor made a facebook account of a teacher at his school using her name and took a picture of her off an friends account. The only information of her's that he used was the teachers name and a picture of her. He then added a bunch of his friends (her students) on this account, but that's as far as it went. He never posted and status, commented on anybody else's statuses, or sent anybody messages. The next morning at school, the teacher inevitably found out and was extremely furious. The teacher is now doing everything she can to find out who made the account. Will Facebook release my brothers IP, or can they not do that due to privacy policy? Basically, I'm wondering if my brother has anything to worry about.
In my opinion it is illegal to make profile with others information because it can create lot much problem and legally its not correct too.
