Hello Friends,
I joined a fraternity, and purchased their crest which is patented, and later realized that this group was dishonourable, and I no longer want to be part of them. Usually one starts the group, and others after are like sponsored. Even tho we had a final meeting with the headwigs, and knowing we are disgruntled, they offered no compensation for all the monies we spent, which 80% are on pension. So, being a group of us, we decided to put our crest for sale, marked used, and not saying anything negative of the group. We did not disfigure the crest in any way. Now they are threatening me of prosecution. Can they do this?
