    Is it legal for a former employee to have a doctors note written from her NOW employer excusing her from this job?

    Under the law, in case of a disability or injury/illness, an employer is required to provide reasonable accomodation to the employee. However, this must be accompanied by a current and a relevant doctor's certificate.
