I want to know if it is legal for my spouse to sign my name to any kind of contract or document withOUT my knowledge, or permisson, or consent? Not just in this state, but in any state????

I don't know what state you are in and and I won't provide you with a thesis on the Contract Law question you have asked covering all 50 states. But generally, the answer is NO.

Let me put it this way, staying in those wide general terms, one of our long elected Arkansas judges signed his wife's name to some legal documents and ended up losing his seat on the bench.
I guess having the power of an attorney, he thought he could get away with it - but I guess not having her power of attorney, he did not. How is that for riding the fence on this question?
