At what age is it legal for a child/adolescent to get a belly button piercing?

I believe it depends upon the state and if you have parental consent.

The legal age is must be 18 to sign for a piercing yourself. If you are under 18, you need parental consent.

In the US it is 18 I believe and in most European countries it is 16.

It does depend on the state. In NY you can't get a piercing until the age of 18. If your parent consents, you can get one in PA at the age of 16. It varies state to state.
