I was sold a lease for my apartment at $499.00 a month on Jan. 2nd. I walk in a couple days later and find a flyer in the leasing office that says that since Jan. 2nd my exact apartment has been going for $450.00. That means that on the 2nd I paid $499 and anyone else that walked in payed $450. Can they do that??????? Please help

If you signed a lease for $450 and they raised the price outside the leases terms, then you have every right to contact their head office; however, if you signed the lease at $499, then unfortunately, even though they advertised at a lower cost, it's not illegal. You can still try and contact their head office with a copy of your lease and the flyer and see if they can do anything for you. That's down right dishonest, and hopefully head ofice will do something for you about that.
