The laws about minors and guns vary allot from state to state. In Arizona, there are no laws that prevent a minor from using a gun unsupervised. Your state may be different.
You can find out what laws may apply by calling the police department in your city or your local district attorney's office .

As long as you didn't threaten anyone with it, I do think so. But as soon as you create the impression in anyone's mind that it is a real gun then you will be charged as if it actually is.

Firing a BB gun in a "grossly negligent manner" will be a misdemeanor that could land you in prison for up to one year.
