In our city it isn't illegal for women to sit at the park and tan without their shirts on. There was a huge trial and it was decided that, since breasts are not genitalia or sex organs, no law is broken when women sunbathe while topless at public parks.
How about your city? can women sunbathe in city parks, topless?

It's not illegal here either in NY. Women can go topless. Most establishments you need to have shoes and a shirt on. This is the way to get around it. Public beaches and other places outside- women can go topless.

Where I live in Florida is it not illegal. Just go down to South beach and you will see plenty of half naked women.

I think it would depend upon your city. Is sunblock considered covering up? Because I think I would want lots of sunblock.

Ha ha, I dont think that sunblock would be considered as covering up. You could use a small piece of colored scotch tape.

No it is not illegal, but it would be shocking to see in our small town. In any public establishment shirt and shoes are required. At a park or beach I don't think there is any laws, but have never seen topless woman here.

I think this is really bizarre, what woman would want to sunbathe topless in a city park? At the beach yes, but in a city park!!! :eek:

I am sure that each city or county takes into account the attitudes of its citizens.
Where, at this time, you are excited enough to state that you need to move, you would find the attitudes behind the statement aren't nearly as pronounced in areas where topless women, and men, are regarded with the same even handedness.
By the end of your first summer, you would stop noticing who was topless and who was not.

I live in Portland OR and i believe we have a city ordinance legalizing nudity in public. Lord knows i've seen and done my share. I'm into mowing the front lawn half naked, and riding my bike topless to work. Guys don't seem to mind. I want to know if i can legally drive nude. What with havin' tits and all.
