Can a non-profit Corp hold a Texas Holdem game and if not under what circumstances could this be legal?

A non-profit or a for-profit must obtain a gaming license or a special permit in order to hold a fund raiser using gambling as the source. Good luck.

This game would be held strictly for entertainment and recreation purposes only in a non alcohol environment. Our gaming permit allows only pull tabs, raffles, lotteries and not a game involving cards unless it was a game in existence before statehood.
